I am the walrus, Coo coo, kachoo.

It's been a long week around here, this is what we've been doing, or some of it.

Wednesday night - house is clean and nothing to do til I have to cook tomorrow - so we went down to fibs for awhile to see the band that was playing. We had fun, I could have stayed later, but having a house full of people the next day made me watch the watch...

Me and Scott:

Friday - I used to wait til later, but years ago Mitchel made us start putting up the tree earlier and earlier. Once he tried to get me to do it almost 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I make him wait til Thanksgiving is over.
Thanksgiving day - Anna - Emily and my mom.
After dinner, we went out to the garage and did a little singing - Scott and Emily sang "Oh Bli Di Ob li Da" by the Beatles, and Emily never likes to sing, so this was an accomplishment.
Our nieces, Kelly and Lindy
Singing a little GREASE
last weekend, Emily had to kick off the holidays with lightening her hair - took about 4 hours. Her butt was sore.

But I knew I was out of luck The day the music died.

October 2005 - I got a great birthday present, my black ipod, I named him Jack. So I called him Jack Black since he was black and all.

He was my constant companion, always willing to sing me my favorite song, or give me great updates on the Chicago Bears, Lost or 24 with up to the minute Podcasts. He even has my name engraved on the back. And so much better than the radio since I hate commercials and stupid DJ banter.

He even kept me entertained with movies either I downloaded or converted from my camera....

I've dropped him and lost him numerous times, and he always came back to me.

But today I dropped him just one too many times. As I attempted to put him back together I noticed one of the 'thingys' was disconnected from the board and I had no idea where it went. I even tried to re-connect it in several places but all I succeeded in doing was disconnecting the other thingy.

It is so sad :( I'm using Scott's ipod for right now, but if anyone wants to know what to get me:

Ipod Touch - 32 gb... the others won't hold my stuff...

So Long Jack - I will miss you!

Song above: American Pie, but not that I can listen to it now.

And my monster mash is the hit of the land !

Here's the follow up to the last Halloween entry: There were quite a few fun costumes:

Scott the hippie and his new favorite karaoke girl Beverly - the cop

Our Friends Kim & Mike Peavy - they had their geisha and samari outfits again, but PV got a great new wig for his.

Scott and Princess Leia sing Paradise by the Dashboard Lights. And I didn't get a picture, but at one of the bars across the street, I kept seeing a really great Padme Amadala outfit.

I don't know these people, but they had great costumes - A cat, a witch, A Reno 911 cop and a girl....

Mark, the dj, about 20 years ago, he was really famous... now he's a VH1 behind the music where have they gone special.
Courtney and Me... Courtney and her friend Betsy dressed as Scott and Kerri. It was really quite funny.
Frank as Elwood Blues and Peggy as a witch, I didn't get her great ruby slippers in the shot
Scott, and "Scott"

Teresa, another Geisha
Beverly again, and I have no idea who this guy was, but this was the funniest costume we saw.

Abby as a cowgirl and Schuyler as a ref
